Sachins Indian Restaurant Review – Fowlmere Restaurant Reviews
One of the few restaurants in Fowlmere, Sachin’s Indian restaurant is located in the heart of the village, close to the war memorial on the High Street (B1368). The building is the Swan House Inn and there is parking available around the back of the restaurant just off Long Lane.
Swan House is a charming grade two listed 16th century building and the dining area is quite extensive. Sachin’s is one of a few in a group including Memsaheb on Thames (London) and Cinnamon Tree (Halstead, Essex).
Fully licensed (beers include Cobra and Kingfisher), the service here is very good. And the dishes are cooked with a blend of aromatic herbs and spices, with tandoori dishes barbecued in a traditional charcoal fired clay oven. The variety at Sachin’s is good; You can choose from coastal seafood through to vegetarian specialties as well as classic traditional dishes.
Sachin’s also offers online ordering from their web site.
