D’Arry’s Cookhouse and Wine Shop Review Cambridge
This sprawling central Cambridge restaurant and bar serving English cuisine certainly has character. The name comes from the establishment’s relationship with South Australian wine producer d’Arenburg.
d’Arry’s is set in quirky and charming buildings, split into two main sections off of King Street in Cambridge. The bar and restaurant is on the right hand side as you enter the premises, and there is an outdoor eating area straight ahead. You can also book into the wine shop itself for dinner to the left (pictured below) with a large group for a private dining experience.
There are a few restaurants on King Street and d’Arry’s ranks as one of the best. Specialty dishes include seafood, pork, beef and game. Table service is enthusiastic and helpful, and starters and main courses of a good quality standard, with the squid starter particularly tasty.
Dessert is selected from the puddings blackboard and d’Arry’s has plenty of tempting dishes to choose from, including ice cream through to chocolate cheesecake.
Occasional off-street parking can be found on King Street if you get lucky timing; otherwise nearby car parks are at The Grand Arcade or Park Street.
