Personal fitness trackers have come a long way in recent times and Garmin have been one of the market leaders. Watch (no pun intended) our review video of the Garmin Fenix 5 below:
For this watch, there are a lot of additional independent user reviews available on the Amazon site. As you will see, they are generally favourable which is a testament to this watch’s look, robustness and tracking abilities.
I’ve taken this watch out on many bicycle journeys, walks and skiing sessions and it really does do a solid job of tracking you and your calories burned, heart rate and more.
Is the Fenix 5 GPS watch worth it?
The watch is very nice quality and good-looking fitness aid, that’s for sure. Prices have generally come down since its initial release by Garmin and you should now find that it’s well worth the investment in my opinion. This is a watch that should last you a very long time.
Having previously used a Fitbit, I found that there is no comparison to this watch, which is far superior in every way. The Fitbit was flimsy, not attractive, and the strap broke, leaving it inoperable. The Fenix 5 has great build quality and can do so much more.
