Loch Fyne Restaurant Cambridge Reviews
Loch Fyne Cambridge is located near the Fitzwilliam museum. It is in a quaint-looking Victorian building on Trumpington Street, right across the zebra crossing from the museum. There is no parking belonging to the restaurant, however in the evenings you can often park on the street. Loch Fyne Cambridge is one of many in the Loch Fyne Seafood and Grill restaurant chain. The menu is almost all seafood and is superb value for money. Prices on the wine list ascend in order of price and range up to a very affordable top price. The food menu is the same: listed in price ascending order and lobster is the most expensive and is at a very reasonable price range.
Two of our reviewers had the chilli prawns for a starter, which was fried, but delicate in taste, with a delicious chilli oil that was worth mopping up with the nice bread when no-one was looking. The whole lobster is able to be be ordered in different ways, and our reviewers chose American garlic butter style which was delicious. A side dish of seafood selection which has 5 mussels, some scallops, and one king prawn was an inexpensive delicacy. it is recommended that you enjoy the seafood with one of the quaffable white wines. The desserts are good. The atmosphere and service felt very relaxed and friendly.
